About Mariposa
"Mariposa loves to garden. Behind her house she has a green house where she spends as much time as possible. Mairposa loves to grow pollinator plants. Milkweed, bee balm, wildflowers and herbs that attract the butterflies, moths and bees.
Inside her green house looks like a jungle, filled with ferns and house plants from floor to ceiling. She has a table where she can start her seeds or sketch the many butterflies that visit her garden."
Inspiration
Briana is inspired by paper dolls AND dollhouses. In this book , she decided to combine these two fascinations after learning about scrapbooks victorian children would make (see image below) . They would cut out pieces of furniture and paste them in a scrapbook to build paper rooms for their dolls. This book is Briana's version!
Colour in the clothing, cut out, and use the tabs to hang the clothes on your dolls.
Use the pocket int he back (looks like a dresser or cabinet!) to store loose parts like clothing and the doll.
Colour in the detailed rooms and use them as a "dollhouse" for your paper doll.
Because paper doll kits are a cutting activity, this book is recommend for people 6 years old and up. Cutting assistance may be required.
