Briana Corr Scott , (she/her) is a beloved author and artist who lives near Peggys Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Her stories and paintings are inspired by magical creatures including selkies, mermaids, and ghosts, but are equally inspired by the magic she finds along the Atlantic coast, such as Sable Island horses, tangled weeds, rocky islands and crashing waves.
