Wallpaper / Protea and Swallow
All of the elements in this pattern are created from original botanical paintings made in oil. The images were scanned and arranged into the pattern digitally. Swallows fly around giant red protea blooms, and an inky blue line drawing of colts foot and moths surrounds them.
All rolls are 24” x 16.5’. The pattern repeat is 24.”
About the Wallpaper : Briana’s patterns began as endpapers for her picture books. These repeating patterns hold many of the whimsical and floral elements contained in her stories, paintings and stationery designs. The images are made with gouache, oil, and coloured pencils, then turned into patterns & murals digitally. Her patterns are inspired by her love of painting florals, nature, the sea and fairy tales.
The wallcoverings are proudly printed in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, using a digital process.
